Truly enjoyed the bay atmosphere from our private balcony. The staff was wonderful and met my needs. Great place for a romantic getaway. The Plaza suite was awesome and view over the promenade was gorgeous especially, at night. Thanks, Kemah. Will return again

They were nice but they have balconies that you can't smoke on . Couldn't enjoy a nice cigar on my mans birthday . Also they don't have breakfast in the hotel so you gotta go next door to the bayside grille which serves frozen and already prepares meals . We wrote a review on the food and prices and spoke with the guy working the register he said "speak with cooperate, I just work here " he said" it's a tourists area so that's why the prices are high " being a tourists area that's all the more reason to serve good cooked food . But what do I know I'm just an American tourist ! Don't know how much good my review will do but just thought viewers and future tourists of the boardwalk inn and bayside grille would like to know .I will also be calling cooperate , to let them know what I feel about eating frozen pancakes from Wal-Mart and paying $30 for them!
Loved the view and loved the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The only complaint I really had was that it was our first time staying and we had no idea that they played very loud karaoke until midnight even on Thursdays. Let's just say it was very hard to get my newborn to sleep. Another thing is they should have coffee downstairs
Cute rooms perfect for the beach theme. Very clean, staff was very nice, and lots to do with children. It is very kid friendly, so if you are going without kids for the reason of being away from kids, this is not the spot for you. With kids it's perfect! All rooms have a great view. I only have a few complaints there are no black out curtains so the sun will greet you very early, not good if you'd like to sleep in a little. The beds are very firm, which is ok for some but I enjoy a softer bed. And last it is very loud but again that is expected with all the entertainment going on. Overall great little hotel.
