If you left your spot for the storm but continued to pay the monthly rate, and
Great park. Came for a week, now staying indefinitely. It's peaceful, great atmosphere, quiet, plenty of amenities, along with an impeccable layout. Park tenants are a great and respectful mix and I've had only friendly interaction with the office, including helping me out when I elected to stay longer. Overall, one of my favorite out of 100's I've stayed in.
This park owners should be ashamed of themselves! While many have been staying for extended periods of time....which is a guaranteed income for these owners.....they've decided to TAKE ADVANTAGE of the many displaced folks from HURRICANE HARVEY! Price gouging, money loving, inconsiderate thieves. $59 a night now folks! That's $1770 a month.....folks who had agreements to pay their $590 a month, are now expected to fart this kind of money out? Hell no! I hope you lose every one of your properties! Karma! Praying for the victims of not only Harvey, but also the victims of this greedy resort!
I am certain that if you continued to pay your monthly rate uninterrupted that your price would remain the same even if you relocated your trailer for The Storm event.
They are price gouging after Hurricane Harvey. We've been here for a year paying monthly rate plus electricity. Now they want to charge $59 a night.= $1800 a month. They said they can cause they are privately owned. They are being reported to the Attorney General & we will do all we can to make sure to get the word out to not stay here. Money grubbing owner. They do not deserve one star.
The nicest place around... And the only kid friendly park in the area. Apparently there was a rumor of price gouging that has been disproved. They actually offered a discounted Daily Rate to help those affected by the storm.
If that is the case then I would side with you rather than the RV park which I still find Charming.
I find this to be a very nice place with nice amenities. I see the complaints below and I can understand what happened.
Or your rates were changed to daily and increased without written notice in the middle of your monthly term,
Either were denied your spot upon return.
Once you leave your spot and stop paying for it, it is up for grabs to anyone else who wants to rent it.
then you have what is called a breech of contract.
